IHI OPEN SCHOOL
The IHI Open School is a global learning community which allows students and healthcare professionals to learn about quality improvement, patient centered care, patient safety, teamwork, and leadership.
BC PATIENT SAFETY AND QUALITY COUNCIL
In 2008 the British Columbia Patient Safety & Quality Council was created by the provincial government to enhance patient safety, reduce errors, promote transparency, and identify best practices to improve patient care. Their motto: Working together. Accelerating Improvement.

UBCO IHI OPEN SCHOOL
In September 2016, medical students at the University of British Columbia Okanagan began working to establish a Chapter of the Institute of Health Improvement (IHI) Open School. The Chapter aims to bring together an interdisciplinary group of students to develop knowledge and skills in patient safety, quality improvement (QI) methodology, person and family-centered care, leadership, and resource allocation.
UBC IHI OPEN SCHOOL
The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) Open School: University of British Columbia (UBC) Chapter is an interdisciplinary community of students and professionals striving for a more efficient, effective and safe healthcare system that provides the best possible care for all patients.
